Standard defrosters are Heating only or Heating+Cooling HVAC units to defrost the windhsield and air-condition the driver’s area.
The AC on standard defrosters usually works as long as the main AC system in the vehicle is operating, whereas heating elements are connected to the main coolant loop of the vehicle.
Standard defrosters allow customized functionalities on the required dimensions, operation of flap actuators and coolant/AC ports.
